cervical mucus

Dr,
I noticed i do not have cervical mucu that was after i took a contraceptive pill which was for three months but i took it for two months.My unders are very dry.The contraceptive was becuase i have heavy flow and painful period. Does that mean i am not ovulating? Now i am trying for a baby. I am still not pregnant. I am very worried.
Please, i need your help….
