Large Unilateral Breast Autoinflation After Breastfeeding Linked to Polyacrylamide Hydrogel Injection Augmentation Mammaplasty
Abstract Augmentation mammaplasty using polyacrylamide hydrogel (PAAG) injection is associated with myriad complications. A patient
treated by the authors had bilateral breast augmentation with PAAG injection and experienced large unilateral right breast
autoinflation after breastfeeding, which required surgical clearance of a likely galactocele or sterile pus collection that
resulted in deformity. Patients with PAAG filler injection-augmented breasts should avoid breastfeeding. The authors recommend
against using PAAG injection for augmentation mammaplasty, especially in women intending to breastfeed. Physicians and patients
must be aware of the complications associated with PAAG before gel administration.

Key Points in Mastopexy
Abstract Breasts represent femininity and any change of shape may affect their appearance. Breast ptosis may be caused by several factors,
including significant weight loss, pregnancy, long breastfeeding periods, and involution of the postmenopausal breast tissue.
Breast ptosis may be associated with breast hypoplasia; thus, in case of a mastopexy with or without the use of implants being
indicated, several considerations have to be taken into account: the wishes of the patient, age of the patient, degree of
ptosis, parenchymal volume, covering tissue, quality of the tissue, pocket implant, shape and content of the implant, and
resulting scars.

Combining muscle-splitting biplane with multilayer capsulorrhaphy for the correction of bottoming down following subglandular augmentation
Abstract Implant malplacement is the second most common reason for revision and bottoming down is the most common presentation of implant
malplacement. Submuscular biplane relocation was combined with capsulotomies and multilayer capsulorrhaphy when bottoming
down was seen following subglandular breast augmentation. Between 2005 and 2009, bottoming down following subglandular mammoplasty
was seen in 41 breasts (19 bilateral and three unilateral). Of the 19 patients, 12 had downward transgression of inframammary
crease (IMC) alone; this also included a patient with vertical scar mastopexy. Two patients had multiplane malplacements where
bottoming down was associated with lateral displacement (telemastia) in one and medial displacement (symmastia) in the other.
Two had simul…

The second one that came on the 26th was light pink in colour and had a lighter flow with no clots (half the time i didnt have to use a tampon or pad), and lasted a couple of days with cramping and a stiff back.. What could be the cause of the second one? …
