lump on canal

Hi i had a smear done lately but during my examination the nurse called for a second opinion. After the examination she told me there was a “bulge” or a “lump” near the canal. My appointment in the colosopy clinic isin’t until the 25th of march and im a nervous wreck wondering what this lump could be.
Has anyone ever experience something like this…
